Good News!

Bob has a contract. It’s six to nine months, and the money’s not so good. But if it doesn’t allow us to keep the wolf from the door, it does (as I once read somewhere) allow us to have a wolf-flap fitted so that the creature can come and go as it pleases. I’ll need to find about another $300 a month in my budget to make ends meet. It’ll be challenging, but I’m pretty sure I can do it. Worst case scenario, at least the savings account will be bleeding rather than hemorrhaging. Definitely an improvement.

Now we keep our fingers crossed that he finds the "real" job.

Great that he has at least a temporary contract, although underemployed is still problematic, as you said.

Hopefully the 6-9 months will buy the time he needs to come across something permanent when the contract ends.

What great news! Hope this turns into something permanent with a pay raise. Good luck, Bob!

Oh, good!

*breathes a sigh of relief*

We've been thinking about y'all. I'm glad you got a temporary stay.

Hurrah! IMHO any improvement is worth a hurrah.

YAY!! Non-hemorrhaging bank accounts are good! Slow bleeds aren't wonderful, but they beat the alternative. Will keep praying for that full-time gig.
