I Love Snow

They promised another 10 inches of snow, but it was a tease.  We got 6 to 7 inches here.  Pictures from this morning.

This is part of our frontage on the road.  Notice how much we have to mow...

The little crab apple tree in the back yard, and some of the pines on the property line.  The wheelbarrow has moved, but has not yet been put away.  It's not looking promising for it this winter.

The pine just off the back deck - slightly blurry.  It's so pretty in the snow I might not cut it down after all.

I'm hoping for more snow later in the week.

*covets your pretty snow*

Y'know, I think buying skis is a little like washing your car in the summer...you pretty much know the weather won't be cooperating. We haven't had any snow in weeks & weeks here. :-(

You're completely right. You remember that my brother lives in Syracuse? The year he bought the snowmobile, and for several years thereafter they never got any accumulation - it snowed, melted, snowed, melted, never got deep enough.

The year after he sold it they got tons of snow that stayed. The weather gods are inherently perverse.
