That explains a lot...

I think I've mentioned my strong suspicion that Doug (the spinning instructor) is a Cylon.  The man is a machine with muscles.  After today's class (which totally kicked my butt,) one of the guys asked if Doug was going to do another bike trip this summer.

"Yes - two weeks.  We're going to start in Italy and go up into Switzerland.  We're thinking about trying to summit the Matterhorn, but I'm not sure yet if I want to do that, because it's a knife edge."

No wonder he can pound us into the ground without ever losing the smile.

But for the first time every, I managed to do all the jumps - by the skin of my teeth, but by God, I made it through the song.  I still can't say that I did all of the out of the saddle bits, but I'm getting closer.

My legs feel like overcooked pasta.

not a Cylon
Just one of those annoying pricks who gets off on exercise pain. Bet he never eats in public because he has to weigh everything first before chewing each bite 100 times to ensure complete metabolic absorption...

Or maybe I need to step away from the computer for a while today

Re: not a Cylon
Nah - he's actually a really nice guy. Very encouraging.

But I totally get needing to step away from the computer occasionally.
