The snow piled against the back door appears to be almost up to my waist. The snow piled against the front door is about up to my knees. The snow piled against the side door is the lowest - it ought to be - if you know my house, that's the door with a bit of a porch roof. I KNEW I should have stacked wood across it to wall it off. :-) That's the door I'll likely force open, although that's the good screen door, so I hate to.
Here's three preliminary pictures. There will be more as we dig out. The man healing from hernia surgery and the woman waiting for an MRI for her shoulder pain. It's a bit ridiculous.
This is a really crappy picture - I know, I didn't take the screens out. Oops. But the point is that the snow is up to the windows on the garage door. Did I mention that the snow blower is in there? I'm going to have to dig my way to it, and hope the opener isn't cranky about weight leaning on the door.

The back deck.

Out the side door. I hate to use it as a battering ram, but if I can force it open wide enough to squeeze out, that will be my beach head.

I think we'll be digging for most of the day.
I'm going to get the crock pot going, and then I'm going to push that door open. I'll take the camera with me when I go.
