My Life in Hell

The toddler is completely broken - I WANT MY DADDY.  Bob's decision to go to archery practice tonight instead of picking her up and coming home was very Indiana Jones.  He chose... poorly.

Said toddler has had a wicked bad cold since last Friday.  Apparently it's become an ear infection - it looks like she's got discharge from the ear that she says hurts.  Which means that the eardrum has ruptured.  From past experience, I know how horrifically painful that is - and there's not a damn thing I can do about it.  Unless it's the most God's awful encrustation of ear wax I've ever seen.  I'll call the pediatrician as soon as they open in the morning.

The cat has progressed from peeing on the bathroom rug, to peeing and shitting on a duffel bag in the hall, to peeing on my bed, to shitting on the rug in front of the couch.  Yesterday I thoroughly scrubbed the litterbox and brought it upstairs, while setting up an extra in the basement.  This morning, both boxes were pristine.  This afternoon, both boxes were pristine.  Someone, however, had peed on the loveseat.  I'm done with this.  Starting tonight, they're each getting locked in a bathroom with a litter box, a bowl of water, a bowl of food, and a towel to sleep on.  No one comes out until box training is re-established.  I am DONE.

It's just one damn thing after another.

Broken toddlers are the most miserable things in the universe. I do hope daddy can fix her.

As for the cats... I don't know what to say... at least nothing that the ASPCA and PETA would approve of.

Daddy makes it all better, so I'm letting him do all the heavy lifting for a little bit. She'll calm back down once she processes the "he went away, but he came back" formula.

The cats have lost their fuzzy little minds. They're on the verge of becoming collar and cuffs.
