There is a fungus among us

We've got a bumper crop of fungi this year.  Sadly I can't identify any of them.

Like these - the woods are full of them:

Bob kicked this one over thinking it was a piece of trash that blew in:

Don't know if these are the same things or not:

Sorry it's blurry - new camera.  And the trees were dripping on me.

Then my side garden is just full of these.  The color is alarming.

Hmmm...I wonder if I have time to come up and pick your chantarelles (the last pic)... but probably no. Victoria's first day of kindergarden is today at last, so she'll be exhausted. And I'm only online testing to see if I'm past the ooo-sparkly-lights stage of a migraine.

Too bad, because I have a bag o' goodies for Charlotte that needs to leave my house.

When we get the next house, I'd love it if I could have a shovelful of dirt out of that garden to try and innoculate my new place with chanterelles.

They're not going anywhere - they've been there all summer. More all the time. They'll be there all weekend. And all next week. Etc.
