Improvement in vocabulary

Conversation this evening:

"Me pizza?  Me pizza!"
"No, no pizza tonight.  Would you like some pasta?"
"No!  Pizza!"
"We're not having pizza.  Would you like some pita and hummus?"

At least she's figured out it isn't "applesauce."

I love hummus, especially on a nice, soft whole wheat pita. Looooove. (I often combine white bean dip half and half with garlic hummus and it's delicious...and lighter on my tum, since hummus is really high in fat, which is good fat, but still hard to digest. For me.)

Though I like pizza, too. But normally I'd opt for the hummus since it is very quick and making your own pizza takes FOREVER. Plus the dough never stretches out quite the way I want it to.

The nice thing about the hummus and whole wheat pita, is that it involves getting the hummus out of the fridge and the pita off of the counter. That's my kind of prep. :-)

Neither of us are sure about the 40 spice, but we both looove the garlic.

My kind, too. I HATE to bake/cook/deal with food.

Forty spices? There EXIST forty spices that can go together in a not totally disgusting and overbearing way? That seems...extreme. I've heard of pepper hummus and garlic and lemon and jalapeno (I also like garlic and jalapeno hummus blended.) but never 40 spice. Sounds ferociously bad.

Re: I promise
Just give me a year or two until I've taught her to sulk more quietly. :-)

But hey - she sleeps like a rock, she loves her veggies, she tries new food - I have very little to complain about.

Hahahaha! She's so darn adorable. ^_^

My Charlotte fell in love with Indian food at about three. Saag paneer with a little fresh naan. I'm just betting yours will love it too.
