Architectural Sadness

Well, I confirmed this morning that I have indeed located the DeWitt Upson house, and I was correct that it is in between the tree farm and the James Upson House.  The reason that I couldn't find it is that it is completely hidden behind the trees that have grown right up to it as it apparently slowly decays back into the woods.  The sun happened to come through just right as I went by on Friday, and there was no traffice so I could drive very slowly.  There is even a vine covered van.  Sad, that.

It's a pretty enough neighborhood that someone may come save it.  I'll keep my fingers crossed.
