Can't sleep

I've been either asleep or dozing (or writhing in pain) since about 11:00am on Friday, and now I'm all turned around.  The rest of the family is out cold - husband, child, both cats, even the damn fish is apparently asleep.  Although if I were to offer ear skritches, Becket would be delighted to wake up for me.

There's nothing on television.

This means tomorrow (today) is going to be miserable getting myself turned *back* around.  Yea.  Fun for me.

A little. Then the squirrel/cat show put an end to it. At least it gets me back on schedule.

Oh wow... I hope you are feeling better, anyway. It sure sounds like you needed the sleep. Take a mild sleep aid tonight and you should be okay by the morning tomorrow, I'd think.

Between the stomach bug and your poor tooth, you've had an awful week. :-(

It hasn't been the best, but it still beats the week of H1N1 flu the other year. Having that for comparison makes a difference.

I have great hopes for next week.

I'm so sorry to hear about your illness! Hopefully it will be as short-lived as it is miserable. And there is NOTHING WRONG with cheerios and milk for dinner. Cheerios are fortified with vitamins and minerals. The box says so :) Seriously, though, if you had a different sort of toddler the whole unpleasant affair could be much, much worse.

Other than feeling rather like a wrung-out dishrag, I'm better. Bob headed in to the office, and I'm trying to get herself to nap - and failing miserably, I might add.

If she weren't such a fabulous kid it would have been a nightmare - I would have had to call someone to come help us. Points in Charlotte's column for credit the next time she annoys me. :-)

No shame. I've eaten cheerios for dinner VOLUNTARILY as an ADULT.

I hope you feel better very soon!

Much better today, thanks. I think I'm going to eat bland things for a bit, though.

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better - sounds like this really put you through the wringer. Get as much rest as you can.

Much better. There's something to be said for fast moving bugs.
